Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including providing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device with oxygen, and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. Intended for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals.  Course Length: 3 to 3.5-hours

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers ONLINE w/ Skill Check

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including providing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device with oxygen, and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. Intended for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals.  The course completion card for the online course is identical to the card for the classroom course.

There are TWO parts to the BLS Online with Skill Check course:

  1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (0.5 to 2 hours)
  2. Part 2 at one of our regularly scheduled classes: Manikin practice and skills testing (15 - 20 minutes)  This session normally begins 30-minutes prior to one of our classroom-based courses--May be scheduled now or you may call to schedule after completing the course.

  • You will receive your CPR card at the Skill Check session
  • Your CPR card will be identical to the classroom-based CPR card with no mention of being a blended "online" course.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED ONLINE w/ Skill Check

Is this course for me?  Please note that if you are a healthcare provider or healthcare student who requires CPR certification then this course will not fulfill your requirements.  Register for the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course to meet your requirements.

For anyone who desires the skills to manage Cardiac and First Aid emergencies. The Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED Online Course includes adult, child and infant CPR and teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the few minutes until professional help arrives.

There are TWO parts to the Heartsaver First Aid CPR/AED ONLINE with Skill Check course:

  1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (0.5 to 2 hours)

Family and Friends CPR

Join us for life-saving training!  Family and Friends CPR is a non-certified class that teaches the skills of adult, child and infant CPR and relief of choking as well as use of barrier devices. Students also get hands-on training with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).    Course Length: 2-2.5 hours

Child and Babysitting Safety

The Child and Babysitting Safety program is a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. CABS stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being. When you are caring for a child, you are taking care of a parent(s) most prized possession. Everything in their home and your own home can be replaced— everything, that is, except a child. Course Length: 4 hours

  • This is an American Safety and Health Institute course
  • Student manual is included
  • Those who complete the course will receive a certification card
