Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (classroom-based course)

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including providing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device with oxygen, and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. Intended for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals. 

Course Length: 3 to 3.5-hours
2-Year Certificaton: $50

BLS for Healthcare Providers Blended Online (Part 1, 2 and 3)

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages, including providing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device with oxygen, and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction. Intended for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals.  The course completion card for the online course is identical to the card for the classroom course.

2-Year Certificaton: $65

There are THREE parts to the BLS Blended Online course:

  1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (0.5 to 2 hours)
  2. Part 2 and 3 at one of our regularly scheduled classes: Manikin practice and skills testing (20 to 30 minutes)

Additional Info:

  • This is an American Heart Association course
  • You will receive your CPR card at the Skills Session
  • Your CPR card will be identical to the classroom-based CPR card.

This registration page is for those who have completed Part 1 (online course) with another provider and need Parts 2 and 3 (Skills Session) ONLY.  You must have completed Part 1 (online course) on your own.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended Online (Part 1, 2 and 3)

Is this course for me?  Please note that if you are a healthcare provider or healthcare student who requires CPR certification then this course will not fulfill your requirements.  Register for the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course to meet your requirements.

For anyone who desires the skills to manage Cardiac and First Aid emergencies. The Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended Online Course includes adult, child and infant CPR and teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the few minutes until professional help arrives.

2-Year Certificaton: $75

There are THREE parts to the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended Online course:

  1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (0.5 to 2 hours)
  2. Part 2 and 3 at one of our regularly scheduled classes: Manikin practice and skills testing (20 - 30 minutes)

2-Year Certificaton: $55

There are THREE parts to the Heartsaver AED Blended Online course:

  1. Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation completion (0.5 to 2 hours)
  2. Part 2 and 3 at one of our regularly scheduled classes: Manikin practice and skills testing (20 - 30 minutes)

Child and Babysitting Safety

The Child and Babysitting Safety program is a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. CABS stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being. When you are caring for a child, you are taking care of a parent(s) most prized possession. Everything in their home and your own home can be replaced— everything, that is, except a child. Course Length: 4 hours

  • This is an American Safety and Health Institute course
  • Student manual is included
  • Those who complete the course will receive a certification card
  • Parents are welcome to remain for the class

Heartcode ACLS Blended Online (Part 1, 2 and 3)

HeartCode® ACLS is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association (AHA). HeartCode® ACLS Part 1 uses eSimulation technology to present realistic patient scenarios.

Students are presented with a team dynamics lesson, 10 ACLS hospital-based case scenarios, and a written exam. While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on ACLS guidelines, and provide treatment.

Successful completion of Part 1, the cognitive component, and Parts 2 and 3, skills practice and testing with an AHA ACLS Instructor meets the requirements for obtaining an AHA ACLS Provider course completion card.

HeartCode® ACLS Part 1 (90-1405) requires Windows XP or Mac OSX, with Internet Explorer 7+ or Firefox 2+. HeartCode programs are not supported by Apple Safari.

There are THREE parts to the HeartCode® ACLS certification :

Part 1 at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (+/- 10 hours)

Part 2 & 3 at one of our regularly scheduled classes: Part 2 - Hands-on practice. Part 3 - skills testing (30 minutes total)

Heartcode ACLS Blended Online (Part 2 and 3 ONLY)

This registration page is for those who have completed the American Heart Association's Part 1 (online course) with another provider and need Parts 2 and 3 (Skills Session) ONLY.  You must have completed Part 1 (online course) on your own.  Please note that ONLY American Heart Association Certificates are valid.  If your online course was from any other provider than the American Heart Association, you cannot be issued an AHA certification card.

There are THREE parts to the HeartCode® ACLS certification:

Part 1 (not included) at your home or office: Online simulation and written test completion (+/- 10 hours)

Part 2 & 3 at one of our regularly scheduled classes: Part 2 - Hands-on practice. Part 3 - skills testing (30 minutes total) 

Additional Info:
- This is an American Heart Association course
